Skye came to us as a surprise. Or rather, she came to me as a surprise.

We were approached by her breeder saying Skye would now be available upon weaning & would we be interested in her. Although Mark was telling me, ‘no, we can’t make it work,’ he was secretly making arrangements to bring Skye into our family. Skye has been the absolute best present I could have ever imagined & Husband of the Year Award goes to him!

I’m over the moon that Skye is here with us. She is such a precious girl and is incredibly friendly, which makes it near impossible to get decent photos. She is very smart and inquisitive - always exploring - and in true Highland fashion, putting her feet in things. She is playful with a hint of mischievousness mixed in. Skye is a more forward-going pony with beautiful, fluid movement.

With her exceptional lines, lovely conformation and wonderful temperament, Skye will set the foundation of our breeding program when she’s of age. Outside of breeding Skye, we also plan to attend events and shows as a breed ambassador.

We absolutely adore her and look forward to what the future holds!
